Chapter 15  One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation. -Arthur Ashe  Marco Orsini’s POV “Nonna wants to give this to you.” I dropped the paper bag on the mahogany table of the ice queen. “Two things, Signore.” The pretty young widow said and frowned at the paper bag. “First, you can’t just barge into my office unannounced what if I am in the middle of an important meeting with my other clients. Secondly, what’s inside the bag?”

Chapter 14  It is easy to hate and it is difficult to love. This is how the whole scheme of things works. All good things are difficult to achieve and bad things are very easy to get. - Confucius Francesca Marcolini’s POV So I’ve been out of the country for a whole week. My unplanned vacation in France helped me a lot. My mother took me on endless shopping spree and I played tourist in Paris for two days. It gave me time to think and planned my next move. But as I stepped out at Fiumicino Airport I realized I didn’t have any plan on how to face Marco Orsini again. Like it or not, I am still practically working for him in searching for his potential bride. Despite what happened between us the night of the charity auction, things remained the same. I certainly hope so.

Chapter 13  France cannot be France without greatness. - Charles de Gaulle Francesca Marcolini’s POV “Welcome to France, Mademoiselle.” The chauffer that my mother had sent to the airport to fetch me greeted me with a warm smile on his elderly face. “Thank you.” I replied with an equally warm smile as I slid out of the Royce Rolls. “Darling!” An overdressed woman approached us half-walking, half-running. “I’m so glad you came for a visit, Francesca. I thought you had already forgotten that you have a mama, dear girl.”

Chapter 12 A widow’s refusal of a lover is seldom so explicit as to exclude hope. - Samuel Richardson Francesca Marcolini’s POV “Put me down, you brute!” I thud my fists on his back but he just ignored me. His back felt like it was made of steel. “Put me down!” “Stop it, woman.” He said coldly, tightening his grip on my legs. “You are insane.” I told him while still thumping my fist on his back. “You should be put in manicomio.” “Oh, you don’t know how insane I am, darling.”

Chapter 11  Plan the sale when you plan the advertisement. - Leo Burnett Marco Orsini’s POV “Don’t you have better things to do than to slouch here in my office this morning?” The dry comment that dragged me out of my reverie came from my best friend, the duke, Don Lucca Cavelli. I scowled at him. “Can’t I visit a good friend of mine at my free time?” “Visit?” The duke repeated mockingly, without even lifting his eyes from the paperwork he’s been so busy reading. “I’m sure you have a million better things to do than visit me, Marco.” “Ouch.” I said theatrically, placing both my hands on my chest. “You wound me.” “Really, mon amico.” Lucca managed to drag his eyes from the boring papers he’d been reading. “What’s the catch? Why are you here? You are not the type of person who will slouch here in my office for nothing.” “I’m just bored, Your Royal Highness.” I answered a little defensively.  In truth, it’s been a whole week since the luncheon Francesca and I a...

Chapter 10 Accept the way life comes. Things will not always work out in your favor, even when you think they should. -Senora Roy  Francesca Marcolini’s POV  “Please wait at the receiving area, Signora.” The maid had told me in Italian when I arrived at the massive penthouse Tatiana shared with her husband. “I will inform the duchess that you have finally arrived.” Once the maid left to fetch Tatiana I looked around at the grandeur of my surrounding. This is the first time I’ve been in their house since they bought it. I bet that Tatiana personally designed this house; it has her taste, though the interior was probably considered simple by the standard of the cream of Italian society yet every furniture spoke elegance like the mistress of this house. “Francesca!” I turned around to face my good friend who I haven’t seen in quite a while. “Goodness! What a sight you are.” “I know,” Tatiana answered with a rueful smile, patting her very huge belly. “I’m huge as this...

HEALTH BENEFITS OF BANANA PEELS

Banana Peels Are the Best Thing You Aren't Eating According to Business Insider, banana peels contain some really great vitamins and nutrients that we're just throwing in the compost. Bananas have been a highly cultivated fruit for thousands of years. Many species of primate consume the entire banana, peel and all, which may have led indigenous peoples to follow suit. Although not common practice in the West, peoples of Asian countries eat banana peels, but they are usually cooked in some capacity. They are not nearly as sweet as the flesh, but they are rich in some nutrients, especially potassium, and can be used for a variety of other health benefits. The flesh of the banana is a rich source of many nutrients and considered high in carbohydrates. The sugar content in a banana is highest when the skin has turned completely black, which indicates that the starches have all been converted to sugars such as sucrose, fructose and glucose, as cited in "Biochemistry of Hu...
